Following Emily’s widely accepted release ‘When Guinevere Went Under’, Triggs is busting down walls that confine an artist to expectations and the roots genres with her album ‘Middletown’. Radio play across the country on CBC and the United States she hit #2 on national Folk/Roots charts. 2021 brought her nominations for Folk Music Canada Emerging Artist and WCMA Roots Artist of the Year. Born and raised in Montreal, Triggs takes you on a journey through inspirations and experiences that have shaped her alt-country, roots sound.
